As she was the oldest daugther in her family Samjhana had to take care of her younger brothers and sisters. Cooking was one of her duties starting for the age of 4.
Now cooking is more then a duty for her. She fell in love with the diversity and traditions of the Nepali kitchen. One of her goals is to show you not only the traditional recipes but find fusion with western recipes as well.
Her book "Flavours of Nepal" will be launched at the end of 2017. The book includes stuning photographs of the food from Dutch Photographer Pim Horvers.
